Krissy & Kris are engaged!
1 commentsIt is crazy how our fall weather has been nicer than our summer! We had a gorgeous day for Kris & Krissy E session. The love between these two is very visable. They were very easy to photography, the connection was amazing. real. emotion. Editing the pictures a smile crossed my face more than once!
Thanks for the many laughs and a great afternoon! I can't wait for your wedding!

Bloggin' Bloggin' Bloggin' so many stories to share!!

I was so excited to go shoot Ashley and Ron's E session. We met at Rock Glen and had a fabulous time exploring. It started to mist (not really rain, lol) we kept on shooting. Unfortunately we had to cut out early because it started to pour! I am looking forward to their wedding! Thanks guys!
I met up with the Farrell family out at Rondeau, we totally lucked out and hit one of these crazy out of the ordinary warm days, kind of like today! :)
The two parents are very lucky to have 3 adorable girls, I loved watching how the girls already interact with each other, comforting and reassuring. Having 3 girls of my own, I can totally relate how much love these 3 will have for each other. They can mess with each other but don't anyone else dare! lol
Thanks for the giggles, girls!!

Kelly & Matt say "I do"
0 commentsWe were watching the weather all day for Kelly & Matt's wedding day. A decision had to be made whether the ceremony would be held at Wardsville Golf Course or move to the church. I was looking pretty good and the call was made to have it at the golf course.
It started to drizzle, about an hour before the ceremony, but the decision had been made. Everything would be o.k, and it was more than that. It was amazing!!
Guests gathered around, under trees, some with umbrellas. It wasn't downpouring, just that annoying heavy mist. It didn't effect the bride or groom moods at all, these two had envisioned their wedding on the green, and it was about to happen.
Every detail was amazing. Royal Creations did the decorations.
Thanks to Ang from Angela VanHorn Photography for second shooting! As always it was a blast!
This couple and their friends and families glowed all day long ~ I hope you enjoy the slideshow! It takes a second to load.

Thanks again Kelly & Matt for including me on your very special day!

Halloween 2009
4 commentsAhhh Halloween! I love it! We have been so busy this year, I thought maybe we would squeak through halloween with costumes from years past, unfortunately or maybe fortunately I have passed some of my creative juice onto my girls and there was no way they were wearing a costume twice. So last thursday night before I left for an overnight wedding we racked our brains, searched the stores for the perfect disguise. Our costumes usually start with one piece that triggers the idea.
I totally love dressing everyone up (even Kirk) but hate dressing up myself! I am totally content to curl up on the couch, with the t.v. to myself, and my laptop on my knee. It is my first weekend in awhile off and it is nice to have the house full of giggling girls. This may have influenced Kirk's costume tonight. Poor guy, I am sure there are some days he wishes for just a little testosterone in the house. He had 6 girls helping him get ready! lol
On to the pictures
Carsen's costume this year started with the beautiful white dress, I wasn't sure but she soo loved it. Once we found the perfect wig, the "Ice Princess" came to life.
Avery was set on being a vampire this year, I am sure it has absolutely nothing to do with Edward or Bella from the Twilight series. I love her red hair. Her costume started with the vampire teeth and the black and red tutu.
Shelby was the difficult one this year. :) Not sure what to be, a pirate, a hippy ~ time was running out. I thought of a "forest fairy" and she loved it. The dollar store was the perfect place for all our "extras" and we were looking for a simple brown cloak, but when we saw this copper dress with wings, we knew it was perfect! I love how Shelby gets right into the role!
And then we have Kirk ...............
